Action by KO

Supplying bespoke action that focuses on the way in which the action affects the characters, driving the narrative through physical storytelling. Providing coordination for Screen, Stage and Live Events, Action by KO is here to make the extremes in your production extraordinary.

With Violence and Love

Whatever it is you’re looking for, whether it be a mass battle scene, epic fantasy fight, bruising hand to hand combat, all out gun fight, or that one hit or fall that happens in your production, you’ve come to the right place. Ensuring the performers’ safety through effective communication, consent led choreography creation and a developed understanding of the actors’ needs during a fight scene, I revel in the problem solving of how we keep one another safe whilst creating action that matters.

Catering to all tastes

My work as a Fight Director draws on my experience as an actor working on stage, screen, as well as live events for clients including English Heritage and the Historic Royal Palace. My experience as a combat instructor shapes my process in negotiating the evolution of the fight and process of rehearsal with the cast. My work as a Stunt/SPACT performer for film and motion capture, experience in historic martial arts practices and firearms training enable me to suit the action to all sensibilities and production types.
